Drugs are Killers - Watch Your Children

Greetings fellow Elk's. It is a new year for the officers of the Lodge, and they have a new Exalted Ruler to deal with. I would like to thank PER Ralph for his help in "showing me the ropes" so that I will not be going into this year blind, but! also know that I will still need to learn a lot to keep things running smoothly.
It is going to be a busy year for us at the Lodge. We are working on plans to upgrade the kitchen so that it is a little more user friendly for the people who work hard to put on the Friday Night Kitchen and the Banquets and Fundraisers that are always in the offing. Speaking of the kitchen, we are always looking for people who are willing to give a hand once in a while for help working the kitchen. Gary Stevens does a great job in making sure that everything gets done that is needed to keep the kitchen going, and bringing money into the Lodge, but there is always room for more help to make things easier on one and all. We are also looking for a couple of volunteers to help out on a couple of the Friday Night Kitchen crews. If you are willing to help, please let either Gary or me know.
I am also looking for anyone who is interested in helping out on any of the many committees that the Lodge is required to have, so once again, if you are willing to help keep our Lodge up and running, please let me know, what you would like to do to help.
In closing, I would like to thank you all for your continued support of our Lodge, and I hope to see your smiling faces over the course of the next year.
Fraternally,
Jason Hager, ER
