WOW,
the month of October is upon us. Where has the time gone? Can you
believe that six months of my time as ER has gone by? I would like to
take the time to Thank EVERYONE who has helped me and our Lodge with
all of the functions that have taken place here during the last six
months. I truly could not have done these functions without your help.
From putting news bulletins together, to fund-raisers, banquets, Friday
night dinners, suggestions on how to achieve goals, bingo, bell jar,
etc., I Thank ALL of you that have given your time to work on these
projects. You ALL know who you are. Six months to go and it doesn't
look like it's going to slow down at all. We have quite a few events
coming up in the next couple of months. I look foward to working with
all of you on these events and hope to some new faces willing to lend a
helping hand. One of the events happening this month is the visitation by State President Tim Kelly. He will be here on Friday October 21 , 2005 between 8:00 and 8:30 PM. I invite all of the members of this Lodge to welcome him to our Lodge. What an opportunity to meet, talk with, and listen to the leaders of the New York State Elks Association as they talk about the ideas and goals they would like to accomplish during their term. I hope to see you all there. Fraternally,
Ralph Gschwind, ER
